BarnRaise, a student-organized make-a-thon and spiritual successor to the Design Research Conference, took place in October. The two-and-a-half day experience combined the best of thought leadership with the opportunity to build physical and digital prototypes.
Check out their blog to see how it went, including MDes candidate Jack Wheeler's behind-the-scenes take, as well as MDes candidate Jenni Schneiderman's reflections. Amy Lee of Design Concepts also reflects on her experience, walking away feeling "inspired, informed, and impressed."
Congratulations to the BarnRaise team—ID students Shanti Mathew, Christina Noonan, Anita Lee, Gaurav Bradoo, and Bryan Spence. Good show!
